Very nice. Can I ask what lights do you have on it? Radions?

I have one that’s about 4 years old and completely stock except lighting, I have recently transferred most of the corals into another system and I’m turning it into a low maintenance softy tank.

I have been thinking about an apex how do you like it and is it essential with successful coral growing?

@Jogging stroller dad I love the apex. That being said it’s definitely not essential. As long as you have a reliable temp controller and some kind of an ato I think your good. As far as corals, start with a few softies and maybe an lps or two. Monitor Alk, ca, and mg. In the beginning, and with only a one or two lps, weekly water changes should be enough to replenish your Alk and calcium. Then if that looks good, try one or two sps. If Alk and ca starts to drop then look into kalkwasser in the ato or two part dosing. I would upgrade the lights before trying sps as well. I think the apex is better served after obtaining more equipment you want to control. Led lights, wave makers, and dosing pumps etc. Save your money and invest in upgrading those types of things first. Then the apex to make controlling and monitoring those things later. Just my opinion though.

Well this will be a fun one to add, I dont have this one anymore running but it was my favorite running BC. I picked it up off the local Craigslist. The clowns that came in it were like 8 years old. Also had a rather large green serpent but I rehomed the livestock.

I did rehome the livestock. But I Rmoved the rim, stuck some T5s on it and made it SPS-Dom. No skimmer.

Here is my Bio cube 32! I still have stock lighting but I did add a 12 inch strip of actinic to the hood. It’s been running for two months. I have the add on media rack, tunze ATO, tunze protein skimmer, and two powerheads on the lowest flow setting. I want to upgrade the return pump. Does anyone have a gph recommendation?

A few of us are running the sicce 2.0
It's much better than the stock pump. We are super happy with it. @Katrina, how do you like yours?

Here’s my biocube 29. It’s been running for 9 years, I’ve only had it for 1.
Huge Gsp closed in this picture cause I was just blasting gunk buildup off them.

I’ve gotten a little bored with this tank so I think I’ve decided to challenge myself with harder corals. I’m gonna start fragging the xenia and gsp, sell it, upgrade equipment and take on lps and maybe sps. Maybe anemone and clam.

For those of you who ato and dose, can I see what your setup looks like and what equipment you use?
