Looks like part of the fin structure but need to see it clearer when fish is out of the bag

Ok thank you very much I’m bringing him back home do you think I should freshwater dip him or not . The guy said I probably shouldn’t.

Not sure why you would do a freshwater dip - for a normal variant. What exactly is abnormal? IMHO - you shouldn't. BTW a freshwater dip will not kill (usually) a relatively healthy fish - however if you want to do it - go ahead.

I agree, it looks like it's fin structure.

It’s really hard to tell in one photo. Mine doesn’t flair it’s tail very often though. Mine is also a female obviously.

Normal yes- turn lights to dim for a couple of hours

I described what mind did - it was a 6 inch fat wrasse just laying out on the rock. However - I have no clue whether the behavior mine did relates to yours (obviously)

this next morning he is coming out every once in a while but most of the time sitting on the sand. Him and his tank mate the Niger trigger are establishing ground. There has been a little bit of aggression between each other. But the trigger was there all alone for two months during treatment. This is what he looks like most of the time.

Do you think I should let it ride out or should I move rockwork. Or should put a mirror on the side of the tank?

He does have a bit of white on his beak I think it’s normal from the photos I’ve seen online though.

I would give it 2-3 days. Don't think you should move rock. You could put up a mirror if you think there is a huge component of aggression - as compared to just the wrasse getting used to the surroundings. Is it eating?

It seems like once the trigger comes over and eats by him is when he gets territorial and then eats a little bit it’s weird.

Also I was thinking of dosing prazi pro as a preventative. Would you reccomend that or should I wait until I see a real problem.
