I've never bought salt on Black Friday. How good are the deals?

I think it was 55 dollars for a 5 gallon bucket, normally 75 for the good stuff

Not true. It takes maybe 10 to 15 minutes to read the email, go to the site, get what I want and checkout thru paypal.

My family has made BF a group shopping experience. Nice since my kids will never go shopping with us. Guess that is good since they are fine with Walmart and Target clothes and saves us money. We usually head out around 6 or 7pm on Thanksgiving and shop until around 2 or 3am and then stop at Ihop on the way home.

Their will be specials from manufactures. last year a big one was Varios return pumps, they were selling out everywhere. Its not just the retailers.

I believe BF is the exception to this MAP stuff. not all will have deals but most will I hope...

That's EXACTLY how it went down.

I was so disgusted that I decided not to buy anything. 15% off was the best deal I found on desirable equipment. Most of the desirable equipment was 10% off or not on sale at all.

Having 2nd thoughts about even jumping back into this hobby now. Here I sit with 6 tanks... 5 of them brand new... and so disgusted with the lack of deals, and over priced garbage.... I might just sell the tanks and few pieces of equipment I've gathered, and move on again.
