Think you know how much water is actually in your system? Time to see how well you can guess how much water is displaced by the rocks! For this game, guess how many gallons of water you think 20.6 pounds of Marco Dry Rock will displace. Guess to the nearest tenth (ex. 10.2, 14.6, etc.). The closest without going over wins a $50 GIFT CARD!!!

One entry per person. In the event of a tie, the wheel will pick the winner. The game goes until the start of the sale on Saturday then the winner will be announced shortly after. Good luck!​

The 21.5" to the top of the water.....is that measured outside or inside the tank? If outside, then does the tank have braces or just glass sitting flat on the stand?

Outside, tank has braces - approximately 1/8" gap between the glass and the stand.

This one is tricky because the size of the rock has a bigger impact than the weight. A 5 lb rock the size of a basketball would displace more than a 10 lb rock the size of a baseball.
I'm going to go with 2.3 gallons of water displaced by 20.6 lbs of rock.

Yup. I used the dry Marco rock because it's very common and a lot of reefers have crossed paths with it before, so they know what it's like. Also, it's pretty middle of the road when it comes to size versus weight.

Have any of y’all ever encountered one of these? Apparently, they have jaws that can cut fish in half and can grow up to 3m long. They were named the Bobbit Worm in 1996 after Lorena Bobbit performed her little feat in 1993. They’re look like something out of a sci-fi horror movie!
