not sure why people keep mentioning alternating skirts for the black hornets- black hornets don't alternate. It's true all other hornets do, but the black hornets don't. Black Hole Suns do, but they were named as hornets

I just noticed that from the photo above. From the photos I have seen I thought they altered but the photo that Bn251 posted shows that the skirts do not alter at all... Seems like the Black Whole Suns and Black Hornets need to swap names!

Yup- it's one of the funnier ironies that both names have become attached to the zoa's, even though the Black Hole Suns fit the profile of a hornet better- but because of that singular pic from Kien- an awesome pic no less!!!- the black hornets have been put in the semi-mythical territory of Soprano's and Bowsers so doubtful people will change out the name anytime soon

Here we go again with the alternating skirt theory. Can i ask who sets the standard for what a hornet is suppose to be. I named it the Black Hornet because it reminds me of the actual insect with yellow and black not because it have or do not have alternating skirts. People can call them what they like but i will be calling them Ktar Black hornets. Thank you
