Were smith's blennies ever ruled out? They're a little pointy, but they're more flat and not snakelike at all.

Just the fish. Getting a CUC in there was a fight on it's own and only after the tank hat turned into an unsightly algae swamp. Corals are limited to anemones, mushrooms, softies, and the like... easy low maintenance stuff.

So you’re good with colorful, simple-to-care-for corals? In that case, I’d go with a porcelain crab for the anemones, a lamark/halfblack/keyhole/multibar angelfish, and a circus goby/ panda goby. Along with your existing clown harem. Sorry no pairs, I think the goby can be paired and you can have multiples of the crab

Are you familiar with the Hawaiian white spotted toby? Some look black with white spots and others look sorta brown.
Also is the no pointy or needle like fish a feng shui thing or just her personal preference?

China Wrasse, Anampses neoguinaicus.
Perfect fit for you, even down to the name, but they are difficult fish and get kinda big for your tank. My male is about 5 inches.
And don't you say that they are not black and white.

I tried the porcelain crabs before when I had a haddoni in that tank. It was a pair that got along well but ultimately the clowns decided they didn't want to share the anemone and killed the crabs.
I got a pair of circus gobies im another tank and you only see them during feedings. And the panda gobies are just the right snack size for the female clownfish. They wouldn't last long.
A Lolita goby pair with a pair of pistol shrimp might work though.
But a pair of dwarf angels might still be the best.

I would go with a pair of multibars and argue away the yellow they have if I could find some from the Marshall Islands that are eating or tank bred ones. But every single one I've seen in storeshere came from Indonesia and would not eat. They usually perish after a couple of weeks.
