Doesn't look like what you have, looks more like xenia. A goni has more of a mound base not thick irregular stalks. Xenia is just as invasive.

Definitely doesn't look like blue polyps- I have them in my tank and they stay very close to the rock.

I actually wish they'd spread more quickly - I love them (yes, I'm one of THOSE people). They grow around my other corals and provide a nice blanket effect. I don't find them invasive like GDP or Xenia.

Whatever they are, I'm a huge fan.

Following for verification so I can buy them if they aren't like xenia.

It looks to be some sort of octoral, clove polyp. I've never seen one with frilled edges before, that's very cool! If it's a goni' then same applies, never seen one with frilled edges. I think clove though because of the way the stalk is matting and stretching to grow. Either way it's cool, wish it was in one of my tanks so I could see how it matures.

Should of said it clearer, NOT blue cloves, they grow very close to the rock with little or no stalk thickness or height. Don't ask how I know!

I agree it’s a Goni. I have blue cloves in my pico and the coral in the photo is too large. Blue clove is so small it almost looks like a covering of blue snowflakes.
