I lowered the water, so it is "splashing " the water ( the filter ) and i see water bobbles now

yes, dang, I am heading to store now to get hanna instrument for copper, I need to make sure that the copper level is ok.
doing what I can to save the fishy, the QT tank. medicine, hanna instrument, it all cost more than the dang fish haha

the fish is still alive, I just got hanna instrument for copper, and it shows 0.59, I use fritz coppersafe, it says to uses 2ppm, I am confused I read that 0.25 is max, but theirs website says 2
what to do? add to increase to 2 or remove water do decrease ?

Chelated coppers like Copper Power and Coppersafe have a therapeutic range of 1.5-2.0
I usually try to hit it right in the middle as I like having a little wiggle room to allow for the Hanna's margin of error which is 0.05

So my sweet spot is 1.75 ppm

Slowly raise up over 2-3 days. Do small doses rather than big doses. I do small dose in the AM, lunch, and PM. Some fish are copper sensitive and this allows you to watch for sudden changes in behavior before the fish is damaged.

ok, there is 1 thing I am tripping on it, I replaced half of the tank, and half again !! the ammonia is still light green , this will kill the fish, how the hell the ammonia is green if I replace the water twice a day !!,

I guess, after working on this fish, i will clean the tank and set up a quarantine proper tank, with a small rock, live sand and have it cycled, for future, hmm

Hey. API Ammonia test kits have a known issue where they will always measure some ammonia even if there isn't any. Dont stress about it, but still keep up with your water changes. Try to get a red sea of salifert test kit if you can.

Could try a Seachem Ammonia Alert Badge. They work great and are unaffected by copper or meds in the water. After placing it into your tank, the best way to read one is to use a small flashlight and illuminate it from behind.

You can also try the Polyp Lab Reef Medic, it worked wonders for my Hippo Tang in my DT when she got ich. Didn't hurt any other occupants.

so the fish was bad 2 day ago, a lot of white spots, and the blue color was going away, and the fish was flat on the bottom part, not the white colors are gone, blue colors is back, and the fish is in horizontal positino, just weak, I still cant control the dang ammonia, I replace the water 3 to 4 times a day, the ammonia is testing green ! I installed some ammonia pads in the filter, I dont think it is working, what to do do next? put some ammonia blocker,. or put the fish to main tank but in the cage ?

I really hate the part I cant lover the ammonia, I am replacing the water like crazy, adding microbacteria7 , nothing wroks, looks like the small tank was a bad idea,

I do, but I test ammonia in my DT, and it is yellow ( good) and green in QT

I've read somewhere on the forums that ammonia tests can also be skewed by copper....I can't seem to find where I read it though, so take that for what it's worth.

I removed the fish, cleaned the whole tank, replaced filter, added ammonia filter pad, and will see what happend after adding RO/DI water

the fish may be free or almost free of ick but the ammonia will kill it, uff

so, I will put the fish to clean fresh tank, no copper, visually the fish looks ok, but very weak, maybe some other treatment to help with internal damage, hmm,
also, I dont feel conformable to put the fish to main tank, the shrimp looks like he want to attack the fish, I have it temporary is a cage while I am setting up QT again, the shrimp swim like crazy to that cage,
