Up date, this one's been in system almost 3 months. Pacific oysters filtration does wonders

Very hardy, we house Pacific oysters. Can withstand 95 degree waters, cultured in Baja California. Live up to 30 years. Since experimenting the last 4 months. Amazing results. Pilot tank has approximately 50 oysters. Thrive different saltilinity.

Forgot to mention, Reef tank is nps.

To me this is one of the hardest corals to keep and seems to need food almost 24/7.
They seem to starve to death very slowly.
Certainly wont survive in a normal reef aquarium.
Good luck with it.

You really make me want to get back into nps corals but they require such a commitment.
I had designed a system a while back to feed a system with a small refrigerator.

The oyster filtration is great idea because that is the second issue is with constant feeding it takes one heck of a filtration system.

Certainly allot of challenge with NPS corals. Maybe it is what I need again is some challenge.

Pacific oysters is one key to heavy feeding. You can add or remove them depending on quantity of feeding. Right now, we're limited in variety of nps creatures. Bummer

From 0-10 it's 5, I always say, not sucess but progress. Time will tell

Shows DT setup, in DT hidden behind false back is two 3k gyre, and one Jebao spc-90. They create chaotic movement.
Now sump has regular 400 gph return pumps two pointing one direction only. That where all blueberry gorgonians are. Most open. Still difficult gorg to culture.

any more suggestions about bluebarries?

I really do not know anyone who has kept it alive for very long. Only people I know that made it a year had almost constant feedings through dosing systems. They seem to slowly starve to death and certainly wont survive in a narmal reef.

What foods worked the best for you when you tried keeping a blueberry? Im trying one right now.
