Bo0sted 40b Build

Found some pictures of some old sorry looking frags that I was able to save and revive from a reefing buddy.

Here is some progress pics of a war coral and a grafted monti I was able to turn around!

Those guys at aquatic art are helpful. And the prices on their coral is amazing. Sorry pics are bad still trying to figure out how to make them better.

I'm in Parker, so 15 min away and work fairly close so I head down fairly often to see what is new. Plus it's hard when its buy 3 get free. The hours are odd but they service a ton of tanks during the week so I guess it makes sense.

Nice! I didnt realize it was buy 3 get one free! I usually stock up on frozen food down there because they carry LRS. Now ill have to stock up on frags too

LRS? And when I go it's hard not to buy something. Also if you ever frag anything let me know. The few pieces you posted looked amazing.

@MikeMartinez82

LRS= Larrys reef services. company started buy a guy and his wife, quit his job as a cop to start making fish food. Check it out!

I can frag you what ever you want. I love trading coral with fellow reefers. Just let me know what you are interested in. I currently have some chunky frags of that neon birdsnest (different than the one you just got) and some of the red and green blastos. But like I said I'll cut you off some of what ever you see!

That LRS food looks really good. Might have to try it. And as for trading all my stuff is fairly small still but will definitely trade when the point comes. Let's keep in touch!

Yeah my fish go nuts for it. @MikeMartinez82 do you have a build thread? Id love to see your tank and follow along as it grows.

I dont, I started here not too long ago and most of these guys are way smarter then I imagined so usually do a lot of reading. But I should start one! Do you have one and if so how do I navigate to view it?

Youre on it right now ;) just start at page 1! Theres also a link in the first post to my 30g cube build that I had before the 40g and 75g.

You should definitely start one. Youll be amazed when you look back in 6months to a year and see how much everything has grown and how different your tank will end up from where you started.

build threads are a must for reef tanks!

I have some from 2007 haha. Its great to look back, cringe, and see how far you've come.

The best place for it here (IMO) its member tanks. Create a thread there and enjoy!

Tank also looks great boosted. I will look you up when I am ready for a swap.

Thank you!

Every now and then you find a diamond in the rough at your poorly run local petco. Found this bonsai acro! Looked like nothing special under their horrendous lighting but i could see a little green on the polyps so I brought it home to unveil the full potential of this little guy. I shouldve snapped a photo at the store but this flashlight before and after is the best I can do.
