Stopped at my favorite LFS here in Hayward . Aquatic Collections always seems to bring great fish. A nice fat yellow tail Tamarin Wrasse

That fish is GORGEOUS!!!

Glad you were able to start again. Any decent fish stores in Hayward? Loved Aquarium Concepts but they had a fire and never reopened.

My go to LFS is Aquatic Collections here in Hayward. Just blocks from my house. Great owners who have helped so much in this hobby. Neptune’s in SJ is also a nice store but I generally don’t head to SJ much

Been a long time since I’ve posted any updates. Tank has leaned a lot more towards LPS than SPS ( sticks ) . So the floor of my tank is filled with nice zoa’s, chalices , favia’s , a few torches , cloves and goni’s. Up top are a bunch of different monti’s. The tank itself remains basically simple. Just a protein skimmer , no reactors of any kind , no auto top offs or dozers. So I’ll get up some pics and try to post some more a bit later when some of the frags grow

Used to go on vacation all the time when I was younger to Hayward! I think the lake was called lost land lake or something like that? Used to go get Friday night fish fry and was amazing!

Well as they say , all good things come to an end. Today is my last day in the hobby after 15 years. The new owners pick up the tank today. It’s been a good run. Lots of ups and downs. I learned a lot from the 2 clubs I was in ( LVVR Las Vegas Valley Reefers and BAR Bay Area Reefers ). Met some great people along the way. I wish you great success with your tanks.
