This is my 25g planted tide tank. It has been up and running for a long time and has been many different things but I switched to T5s from LEDs and planted tank is the way it's going.

Equipment:
x1 AC50 HOB Filter
x1 Aqualife HOB Filter
x1 Reef Octopus BH1000
x3 Korilia Nano 240
x1 4 bulb 24" Aquatic Life T5 Fixture

Livestock:
10+ Species of Macro Algae
True Mated Pair of Dwarf Blue Coral Banded Shrimp
Pair of Trimma tevegae gobies
Green Haddoni Carpet Anemone
ATL Red Mini Anemones
A few zoas and some sympodium

I plan to add a few more fish but haven't decided exactly what just yet. I also have a bunch more macro algae coming this week.

I only have a small frag in this tank but here is the 18" mother colony which is in one of my other tanks:

Nice tank, Bongo! I really like Trimma gobies also.

Where are these dwarf blue coral banded shrimp you speak of?? I have not even heard of the dwarf variety.

I have that macroalgae. The site I got it from referred to it as red bone grass.

What is this?

Nice tank. Different that what you usually see.

The closes to a scientific name I have gotten is Rhodopeltis sp. Might not be though.

nice tank

Thank you!

Nice tank, Bongo! I really like Trimma gobies also.

They are Stenopus tenuirostris.
They only grow to a max of about 1.5".

Not my pic:

Getting in a ton of macro and some sponges this week and I have decided to get rid of the anemone and go NPS. I took off the skimmer and have a GFO reactor coming this week. I'll be feeding phyto, cyclops, rotifers and a ton of other foods every hour on the hour.

Ok so I guess I'm still toying with the NPS idea. I really liked it and am still considering it but nothing in terms of that is happening immediately.

Here's what the tank looks like today. I'm hoping through dosing phyto I can keep these sponges happy. IDK what it is but ever since adding them the nems have been unhappy and so have my zoas. I tested everything and all the parameters are good. I did a water change anyways though just in case and I'm hoping it was just all the dust and sand from me burying the sponges and moving some rocks.

Very nice. Where did you purchase the sponges? I have been looking for a blue vase sponge like that.

Very nice! Where are you getting the macros from? I set up a macro nano not to long ago and I found it difficult to find nice macros.
