Really frustrated about that I needed to move it down from the lip so I could access the cover on the overflow now I have to get a piece of glass and seal that hole and drill another hole so my water level is better then will have to dremel off the lip of the trim so I can take that lid off. Wish I would have just done that in the first place but lesson learned

You don't have to dermal anything! I've got the same exact kit

the water level wasn't where I wanted it so I put a small piece of acrylic on the inside and glued it now my water level is right where I want it

3 things:
I have been looking into that sump for my possible 40g upgrade but where would the skimmer go? is it at the return section?
is that pump strong enough for the manifold?
i would recommend getting gfo and carbon separate rather than the BRS one together. i've read to many times about the carbon wasting faster and being a hassle to change

following along as im a few months from doing the same exact upgrade =)

Thanks revh! And the sump is really good actually the skimmer will go in where the return pump is and NY pump is plenty strong to push through my manifold tested it last night and was crazy strong! I will be rubbing seperate reactors and possibly a biopellet reactor

its about 700gph with that pump too
