Two things:

You mentioned that "alk and kh are good". Alkalinity is measured in dKH. Is this what you mean?

Also, are you doing QT yourself or are you relying on the LFS to QT for you?

yea i did, was stressing so i was writing very fast. And yes I rely of the lfs for qt. I ve been using them the past 3 years, absolutely fish, they have a good rep and I trust them.

What did you use for a dip, and how well did you rinse after dipping? Hoping there wasn't any leftover Bayer or something left on the frags. That could certainly cause some issues for them.

I've purchased from Absolutely Fish back in my early days in the hobby. Never had a disease issue. But I have since set my own QT and put my new purchases through my own QT period anyway.

It seems like things are moving in the right direction for you. Please keep us posted.

So the reason I can't set up a qt tank is due to the fact that I m a college student. I have to move my tanks a couple times a year (college and back) and don't have the space or money for a qt. In the future I will. Absolutly Fish is great and never have sold me anything bad.

Update on the fish: everything is good. clowns ate like champs today and were zipping around the tank. Parameters are stable. Thanks everyone for their help.
