That stand came out very nice! I am not a woodworker, even though my grandfather was a finish carpenter. He made cabinets for a living. None of his skill rubbed off on me, unfortunately.

Good luck on your trip. I am sure it will be an emotional time for everyone. At least you will be able to spend some time with your parents.

I have wet side replacements use citric acid but I change them so often I just scrub them clean with water and a brush. Rinse dry and store. With the gyres I clean them more than once a month so not citric acid needed. Although I mix as it tells on the package.
