I posted this before. My first fish was a flounder and it was on a plastic and metal dime-store toy rod & reel. The kind you have magnetic fish and magnet on the end of the line. I think this was in 1960. Ha!

Some type of algae is my guess. But I've never seen algae like that.

Me either. It's my buddies tank. I thought bacteria or chrytophyte but those are a guesses

I have an rock in my tank in the far back that I call my algae rock, hasn't been brushed or cleaned or touched in 4 months. It's hair algae and detritus and crap all sitting together.
