I find with stability, lots of concrete things are not so solid.

youll be fine. Its a learning experience. Failing sometimes does happen but thats why you can re-do it. I re-did my plumbing about 3 times because i didnt like how it was.... also because im low key a dumba**

hmmmm, ok i have a proposition! the only tang you can probably keep are going to be bristletooth or yellow eyed kole tang.

People keep yellows and scopas and hippos in a smaller tank.... somewhat like me.... but i wouldnt recommend.

I had a lovely yellow eyed kole tang who was sooo mellow. My new guys is a butthead! He is a bit more colorful and gorgeous.

I can see it now. Andrew finds a defect Tang...he is very soft when it comes to the special ones. He wants the ones nobody else will love.

IMHO, the turnover rate kind of depends on how you have your sump set up. If you are going to have a refugium, then I believe slower is better. 4-5 times turnover through the sump would be what I would shoot for with a refugium (unless you have a remote refugium, then you can dial that to the flow rate you want). Lots of debate on the subject and people have different opinions. Just depends on what you find works for you.
