You have no idea how much fun I've had with thatOur ti in basic did too

It would be nice to have it pointing the same direction as the rest of your fingers though.No. It's no big deal.

So the 4.0? 900+ gph?You are going to go a little bigger I thing. You'll loose head pressure for elbows and height. 10-15* turnover is what you want of i remember right.
Ball valves or gate valves depending on what type of drain you have. Do you know what kind of drain the tank is drilled for?I have another plumbing question. I'd like a shut off from the DT to the sump. In the event we have an oh crap with the sump. What should I use?
;Nailbiting) your plumbing and there are less micro bubbles blasted into the water on start up.I'll post pics, but I think dursoBall valves or gate valves depending on what type of drain you have. Do you know what kind of drain the tank is drilled for?
Smart. Thanks Robin.Ball valve will work just fine for the return shut off. I like using the Spears gate valve to regulate the drain. They turn so smooth and are built very well.
I prefer DC return pumps. They are adjustable so you could get one slightly overpowered and turn it down to suit your tank. They also slowly ramp up when you turn them on from say, cleaning or feed mode, so they don't all of a sudden spit the full flow of water out all at once. It doesn't water hammer (big slug of water rushing thru empty pipe, you should hear 24" steel pipe hammer and shake back and forth;Nailbiting) your plumbing and there are less micro bubbles blasted into the water on start up.
