Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

I did a roughly 45% WC today, nitrates were creeping up.
Made new water to top off the brute can I stole from for the WC.
Lowered the salinity of the QT getting ready for my new fishy.
Not sure how long I'm going to quarantine him, I only have 4 corals and no other fish to infect (worse case scenario).
I may just do a week or two of observation in CP. Then into the DT.? Haven't made up my mind yet.
Lol, if you can do quarantine. (I don't) especially for your 1st fish.
The advantage is a clean DT that doesn't need to play catch and release and fallow display.
And not contemplating adding copper to your display. :-/

I am too far down the other road to really come back.
Lots of clams, blackworms and LRS and Rods Reef.

And an occasional capfull of Herbtana.
Since I don't even have a UV sterilizer installed.

Not a recommended path. Just one I have been on for too long.

Funny you mention that. There was a bear right outside the cottage the first morning we were there. Apparently they are all over Asheville.
Thats incredible. Such an amazing animal

That was the second closest I had been to one. We saw the same flock of turkeys every morning and deer almost every morning. Literally in the yard.

Another day in Paradise. I am covered in ice cream and whipped cream.
Will there be sprinkles?? Chocolate syrup? You sound delicious! :)

I was mentioned briefly today on BRS Live. Ryan was reading off the names of all the winners of free orders this past week. Then he got around to the Wish List winners. I was apparently the only one so far that had over $500 worth of stuff in my Wish List. He didn't do so well with pronouncing my name though. I am used to that. I have lived up north and those yankees insist on pronouncing the silent "x" at the end of my last name (Primeaux). :)

If you want to see that part of the video, go to around 6:25...

Hello,

If your path works stay on it because if you don’t it may do more harm. Uv steralizers are great and they have really helped my tank. Now, I say that because all my fish are happy and most of my corals. Yet again they are only suppose to run for 8 hours yet I run mine 24 hours non stop.
Doesn’t seem to affect my fish or corals any (bad wise), so maybe your path isn’t so bad after all.

I heard that he said you were the only one to take advantage of the full amount so far. I didnt realize it was you he was talking about. Good job!

Yeah, I think most people had only $100-$300 in the Wish List. Once I read what they were doing and Ryan said to put $500 worth of stuff in your wish list, I put even more in mine. :D

Jis it still going on

The whole month of May.
Also if you order from BRS when you open the box you may have a winning ticket with the amount of points gifted to your BRS account of your order...meaning if you spend $300 and win you get $300 worth of BRS points to spend there.
They're doing 4 of those a day I believe.

Funny, I never thought, my first tank was a marine tank. Sea Monkeys. They lived too. Wow. Then my dad bought a 20 long which I always thought of as my first tank (1977, I was 7). Funny how the brain works, right? Good brain.
