Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Ever set up a tank to house a bad guy? My son wants to set up our 8 gallon to keep the gorilla crab in until we find him a nice cozy sump. Still haven't caught him.

Does the crab peek out at feeding time?

Most of my crabs generally always have. So after a while they get trained and will demand to be fed.

No. Only saw him one day. I've been trying to lure him with food. He is about the size of a half dollar.

Now I know how my mom felt with me growing up. I had so many little critter

I did it short term with a 10 gallon when I was removing fish and a Nem before bringing them back to the LFS. Not sure I'd do it for a crab. This might be one of those times where telling Jr. the crab went to "live on a farm" is on the table

Don't have a shot glass. We drink out of the bottle for that. Would a glass votive candle holder work?

Yes. It appears even a drinking glass that will fit works.

No. Got a tank for him though! Lol. The Mandarin didn't make it...I'm glad I specified 2 weeks of feeding before we took him home. Kiddo is pretty bummed about his dream fish.

We are riding it out under mandatory evacuation. Thanks anyway. My grandma in key largo is riding out the storm too. My fish are being moved into 5g buckets with bubblers. We might go 10miles inland if we need to get out. The buckets will be thrown in my dad’s truck. If it floods bad you will probably see a video of me water skiing and wakeboarding on the highway behind my dad’s truck go viral lol. Or u will see me trying to rescue people with my motor kayak
