Yea what’s the status with that

This happened to me to during one of my leg surgeries, it was terrifying, my family still doesent believe me when I tell them I remember parts of the surgery. I have ptsd from that whole leg incident, that was a nightmare.
I woke up in the middle of extraction of my wisdom teeth. I had an anesthesiologist and all. I remember them cracking and pulling my teeth. I even remember them saying he is coming too.

The tank is boxed and ready but not sure if I am going to get the new house or not. I put it on hold because I don’t wanna move that one twice even if it’s boxed and empty lol:

Are you looking at houses still?

I have a few I like but trying to work with them on certain things and they are incredibly slow. Trying to find another concrete subfloor like I have now isn’t easy in Boise. Yet when I have looked at floor plans and I know where it would go, to have them reinforce the floor while they build it, the extra price is crazy. For one company to add in the extra 2x10 supports and concrete the demensions I need on their own plan, they wanted close to 12,000. (Its kinda crazy), but have a few willing to work with me but may just build my own etc which takes tad longer. But I’m not thrilled about moving my other tank either lol:

I have woken up during every surgery except when I had my tonsils out as a senior in high school. The sickest I have ever been after surgery. Now, I just opt to stay awake with a local and a little chiller outer.

Can you choose to stay awake? I don’t feel like I had the option lol.

Hello,

So in my limited experience since I’m in my first year of residency it’s usually up to the patient and or surgeon or team performing the procedure and type of procedure. They usually sit down and plan everything in advance unless it’s an emergency situation. Even then I’m sure it could be but I haven’t seen it well yet.

I've had my nose operated on twice because it was disjointed by a few people who thought it needed some adjusting. I lied to the surgeon about my drinking and drug use for the first operation. I woke up and he was chiseling away. I asked him how much longer this was going to take and started laughing. He totally freaked and started asking the anesthesiologist why I was awake. I learned from this not to lie to my doctor. They made what were supposed to be the appropriate adjustments for my second operation. I still woke up.

I had my lower wisdom teeth taken out when I was 18. They left the uppers because they were in all the way and were not problematic. When I was 36 my dentist suggested I have the upper wisdom teeth taken out because of the severe cavities that were developing since it was nearly impossible to brush all the way behind them. For the removal, I opted to have them removed without any pain meds, at all. It hurt and the sounds that echoed through my head of the cracking and crunching are etched upon my memory. I still have those wisdom teeth and, if I remember, will post pics of them.

No way I would have done that. I think you are really better off having an oral surgeon remove wisdom teeth nowadays. My sister-in-law just had hers removed and a dentist did it. He had a hard time with her and now she may have a damaged trigeminal nerve, which is not good. This just happened and she is still seeing doctors. I had mine cut out and I was out like a light. Went in, got a shot, woke up and it was done.

This is hugely important. Always be honest with your anesthesiologist. They do not care what you are doing, they just need the correct information to do their jobs.
