Btw, i figured out my diy ato issue. Somple mistake of switching both high voltage wires through the relay instead of just the hot one.

Ok, I will likely get flamed here, but ... Made the mistake of giving my mother a cute little feral kitten. The cat literally grew up to be the cat from hell. She was as mean as they get. She would sit on my mom's lap and be all sweet - then turn around and bite the crap out of her. Hideously large bites. Got her good once and mom got cellulitis. In the hospital for 4 days. Went home and the darn thing bit her again the first night back. It was time for the cat to go. The local cat shelter would not take her, because she was a biter. Who wants a biting cat? So, she went off to the the local animal control. Ask me if I like cats... :mad:

And then there was the feral cat that lived around our house. It had the pleasant habit of catching / killing rabbits, eating half of them and stashing the rest of the bloody carcass in my wife's flower beds. Imagine her delight when she ran across one of those. I saw the cat late one night after a fresh kill, sitting on my carport. Something a little unsettling about stumbling upon a white cat covered in blood at 2:00am in the morning. Ok cat rant over. Ha!

Ha! Good luck. I have a friend in Florida that has this special blower and she takes hers (she has 3) in the back yard and blows as much loose hair off of them as she can. We just brush, brush and brush and vacuum, vacuum, vacuum. All that and learn to live with hair. Their undercoat will shed at least twice a year. Don't want to shock you, but...

I was hoping for a storm here. I will have to tranquilize my dog later. Nothing like a 90 pound dog freaking out in the house. He will chew the door knob off the back door if we leave him alone with fireworks going off. He has done it twice. He knows he has to turn that knob to get out of the house. Ask me if I like fireworks. Ha!

Ok, I double checked (ok I had Sherry check the color) on the pH test. I was dead wrong. It was super low. 7.3

I put the skimmer cup back on and opened up the window in the room and it has risen to within non-dangerous level 7.8 now but it needs to be higher. Guess I am going to be running the supply hose for the skimmer air out of the house to draw in less CO2.

I had no clue that SPS were that sensitive to pH but then again, I don't know how long it was low and they finally just gave up. I haven't measured pH in two months.

I feel terrible that I did this to them. I am ashamed.

This also tells me I have GOT to get checkers that don't rely on color. Dangit!
