I need an overflow and return pump. I have a pump I could use temporarily but really really dont wanna pull it apart again after it's all done. That will be back-up pump.
I'm going to get This Pump
Has a warranty vs buying from amazon or elsewhere and I can connect to my apex in the future once the 50 cube is setup.

I know right? This new build has really been an eye opener, and a Wallet emptier. If I want a return pump, even a cheap one that can do what I need it to do, $1000. Lighting, $1-4,000 depending on how crazy I want to go. Heck even dry rock 1-150 pounds $600. I can go on and on and on it's a little depressing.

In my humble opinion - the perfect reef light is metal halide. Not the coolest. Not the most expensive. Not the most energy efficient. No controller needed. No programmimg needed. Simple on and off. Fantastic shimmer and grows coral like crazy. There, I said it.

That is what a biologist said too. I was tossing it around, and so many people say it's expensive to run. How much per month would you guess it would cost for a 60g?

a 250 is $105/year
