Its looking good after the blackout. Just kinda waiting for it to return as it seems to. I pulled the chaeto out to raise nutrients. It seemed like no matter how much I dosed, the chaeto sucked it all up. Its just a wait and see game now

Yep film cyano than ha all good signs. Also if you have another tank or a friend pull a handful of sand from their tank. It will help

Its amazing how quickly nutrients can increase when you pull the macro out of the sump. My tank went from near zero to 35ppm no3 and 0.5ppm po4 in one week!

Macros are use nitrates quickly. Many people understamate how quickly they use nutrients including trace minerals.

To keep macros happy feeding them usually is the end game. I firmly believe that's why macros fail after some time has passed
