I think we are going to go with a 3D printed filter sock. Just filter floss in it. I have enough socks to wash.

Absolutely, you should do whatever your heart tells you to do. I have no doubts, the people on this thread will respect your choice, and follow wherever you go!

Definitely a fun distraction.
I got the 50 cube going today.
Have a bunch of things that need fine tuning over the next week or so.
But all in all I'm happy with it.
Dory went into the other larger tank today.
I need to put rocks in the 50 cube, just sand, fish and water right now.
The return pump flex line has small dribble that needs adjustment/ fixing.
I'll probably have to adjust the heater tomorrow.
I'll post pics tomorrow too.
