It won’t hurt. I’d be weary of adding too much at once as it may affect the fish. A little bit goes a long way.

This is kind of what I was talking about with "unknowns". How much is enough? How much is too little? How much is too much? Seems counterintuitive to add something that lacks any ingedient info. That's just me, though, and I really do wish you good luck.

To add to OP question, It is a chemical form of many bacteria cultures to help seed your tank when new and even keep it in check especially in cases of Dinoflagellates, it helps reduce the nutrients that feed Dino

MB7 is good stuff IME. I have used this to cycle a tank and have used it in an established tank with zero ill effects. Contains nitrifying bacteria i believe.

Good evening,

I used MB7 to help combat Dino and turf. Didn’t really do much. I gave it a few bottles in my 180. It didn’t hurt anything, but to be fair my problems are out of control so not a reflection on MB7.

Snark and being a meanie are different.

My boss calls me snarky. But he also calls me when he needs assistance so I guess it cancels each other out. :D

An established and stable tank is all about bacteria laden from months of culture overtime.
The more and different strains of beneficial bacteria is always good.
People tend to fancy with more equipments to run a tank whereas you can run a simple filtration with proper media and well seeded bacteria.
Bacteria in bottles are very good way to supplement any tank to help naturally breakdown nutrients therefore help reducing all bad algae and cyanobacteria by compete for nutrients.
For nano or small reef setup it's the best way to balance and run a successful tanks.
