I do believe currently the Trident does not adjust your dosing based on readings and this feature won't be available for some time after the release. It is a planned feature but I feel they want to work out any testing issues before they give the Trident free rein to dose your tank on its own.

Very good point. Seems like we are very much on our way to making reefing much easier.

Well the crap storm continues.

They do not have any 6026 cabinets in stock until late February.
so....
they gave me some options and I decided to have them send me a 5526....the journey continues..

thats my understanding.
I have gotten 2 stands, both used/returned and I wouldn't trust under the tank.
so
3rd time is hopefully the charm. Hopefully I get this 5526 and its in perfect condition and I can actually start the build.

So Two tanks ???? Always build your own stand for the 6026

ha, i'm pretty positive they will take the 6026 when they deliver the 5526. but that would be pretty cool.

You never know, with shipping costs it can be easier for a company to write off a tank then pay to ship it back and store it I've seen Red Sea send whole new replacement tanks for a tiny scratch and not request to take the original back.

but i did have to add silicone to the Overflow cause of a small leak. I don't think they could or would want to sell a tank to someone that had to be fixed by a customer.

It did.
It leaked, must have been shipping damage or something.
But we moved on, I requested a refund. Really sucks because they tanks are gorgeous and they as a whole have tried to make it right, just couldn’t.
So I’m waiting on that refund to arrive now....then I have to find another tank that’ll be covered under the refund amount, can’t spend anymore money and order it...

I’m so very sorry for your experiences

. That is absolutely horrible. I hope you were able to get a full refund. I hate to say this, but maybe check out the Red Sea peninsulas or a custom build. Very sorry.

It is horrible but, it is what it is.
I hope so as well, about the refund, waiting on it still.

Yeah I’m have been looking around. Just want to get a tank in here ASAP
