I know questions about brown algae get old. I also know I need to perform additional water tests to confirm the issue, but buying test kits is like paying for ID theft protection. We should all do it, but its more fun to buy new coral. I'm venting but also looking for help....Please!
I've been fighting algae issues in this tank since day 1. It's been set up for about 3 months now. Currently fighting two different distinct algae brown fuzzy algae growing all over the gravel, rocks, and glass. It has coated a Kenya tree, which I don't think will survive now. Also a dark, almost black algae on some areas of the sand bed. When I try to clean this it kind of clumps up; grows quickly, but does not spread quickly.

Not sure why I always seem to have a low level of Ammonia, but never any Nitrite/Nitrate to speak of. Feed fish 2x daily. Morning is Nori clip or flake with pumps off. Only what they eat in a 1-2 min. Evening is 1 cube mysis or other frozen food, thoroughly rinsed before adding to tank.
