Brown Jelly Disease on Sandbed

I have some now, I blow off the rocks before lights out and am dosing Hydrogen peroxide and have ozone and UV.
Slimy muck is cleaned from the sock once every two days.
They are controllable right now, but they are still pretty annoying. I might start dosing bacteria too.

My Phosphate is low (less than .1), but Nitrites have been 20's to 30. Sea lettuce is on it's way for the fuge and Im reducing the photo period.

Sure is! Been at 15 for a few months then shot up, I fed too much and fed too much phytoplankton.
Skimming wetter and feeding less. Macro should help when it gets here.

One thing that may help with this issue is simply adding a pouch of Chemipure Blue or Elite which will lower the NO3 and Phos and keep it in check while polishing the tank water and removing any toxins if present.

I have 3 bags of elite already, 2/3 bags are less than a month old.

The tank is still pretty new, and I think I went a little overboard with the phyto.

The API test is questionable so I'm getting a different test set soon.

Do dinoflagellates smell bad? I stirred up all the sand today and dosed KZ coral snow and as I stirred a burning smell came to me.

I actually was born with no sense of smell (it hardly works ever) I can’t smell farts nor garbage. I never smelled something bad in my entire life! This smelled bad to me because it burned.

I know I definitely have Dino’s in other parts of the tank.

I am going to assume I’m dealing with Dino’s.

Phosphates STILL at 0.02 (7ppb) with Hannah checker! I’m feeding pellets 4 times a day!

I’m receiving the glass microscope slides tomorrow and I will post my findings.
