LFS the vast majority of the time.
yea, if the price is within a reasonable difference, im happy to pay a little extra for the convenience of getting it now, and supporting the local guys.

I picked SWA.com. I used to do only BRS but as of late they are always out of stock on the items I need/want. SWA also has one of the best live clean up crew selections and has about a 90% arrive alive rate for me. The 10% DOA is refunded to me within the same day without any complaints. I've bought from others and they always seem to come the size of a pea.

Honestly I buy from whoever has the stock at the time as long as the price isn't inflated compared to others. I bought my new Trigger Triton 26 from aquacave because it was the same price as BRS during their huge sale. I had been eyeing it on BRS for a while but it was out of stock. They put it on sale while it was out of stock too.:face-with-raised-eyebrow:

I voted "other". Starting out, I found BRS first, so that was my go to. Now I tend to shop around. I probably favor BRS first, but will check prices before buying something

I use both brs and saltwateraquarium.com. I think you get more perks with the freebies and points saltwateraquarium.com offers. But they sorta compliment each other because they carry different product lines as well.
I think the only reason I still use Saltwateraquarium in a because I want a whole set of their pint glasses that you get for free with a $100 order.

Of the two, SWA if the price is near the same. Most of what I buy is below the “free shipping” threshold for BRS but at or near the SWA free shipping plus I get a discount on SWA for Civil Service.

That said, most Neptune and other MAP products I buy from my LFS.

Otherwise it’s usually Amazon as the “free” shipping with prime makes the price difference negligible and faster shipping. BRS always takes a while for me (mainly because I cheap out on shipping but yea).

It depends on the product. They don't carry identical things per se, and have different sales. It is more nuanced.

Saltwateraquarium.com does 5% off for military and several others too. Hey its savings

Haven't been reefing long, started with freshwater, but since BRS videos are pretty much what got me started that where I started getting stuff. These days I go for SWA first, if I can't find it locally. BRS is only if I need something only they carry.

Now days I’m loyal to wherever the item I’m looking for is cheapest, although I used to love marine depot back in the 2010 days.

Depends on what I'm buying.

Without knowing what you're looking for, I'd say either/both/other.

I have been buying all of my salt and some other stuff from SaltwaterAquarium website recently.
...but I've also bought equipment from BRS (and Amazon, and elsewhere).
