Bryopsis and reef flux

IME bryopsis will dies rather well with reef flux EXCEPT any area not exposed to light. So after the treatment, it will regrow from any dark corner or crevice. Not exactly sure why though notices some bryopsis growing on my glass and it has roots that are creeping along the glass. Maybe that is why it comes back so easily and quickly. It is very hardy and tough to kill. Super low to zero nitrates ad phosphates doesn't slow it down. I've covered it with slabs of reef coral gum paste entirely over a rock where it was... and it manged to get out from under it! I've just resigned myself to removing it weekly by hand.
