Aww I actually liked my pulsing Xenia. But it has almost completely melted.

I just blew off my rock work. Lots of algae floating around ( and Xenia parts) Every think else looks good so far
I like them too, until they start to take my entire tank over and a lot of reefers think of them as a pest.

There are a lot of forums of people trying to kill off their Xenia.

I'm sorry for your loss :( and I didn't mean to offend you.

Regards, GoVols

Treated a while back, then got distracted with a fish into quarantine and never posted my final after picture.

Here is another success story. I elected to dose vibrant with the fluconazole. I am 6 days in and you can almost watch the algae melt. Tangs and CUC now munching on the pale stuff

Of interest is my Xenia looks like it may be toast

Tru Dat, Tru Dat :(
Haha. I knew it was there but has really exploded... I just did aiptasia x treatment and will add a peppermint shrimp this weekend.. It just better leave my lps alone or it will go in the copper tank!

Jk I'd post it on the local forum.

how do i buy this stuff, says it needs an RX..anybody got leftover..please PM me

Looks like you still have a little of it between colony of Zoas. I'm on day 12 and I also have some between a zoa colony. May be because of less flow?
But looks good!
[emoji20] only algae in that pic is red turf above the war coral... All the other stuff is aiptasia... It's not the best pic but my phone really doesn't like that light fixture..
Did just notice a small patch under a hammer skeleton that has about a dozen baby heads trying to come back... So may do water change, break the skeleton down smaller and try to get that last little patch taken care of.
Also planning h202 treatment of the turf to see if I can knock that back. The war coral will over grow it, at least it has before
