yeah, that sums it up. Now what is Derbesia?
This is used to treat cyano in FW tanks. I haven't seen it have any effect on BBA.
I've used H2O2 in FW planted tanks for BBA. Plecos and shrimp are sensitive to it.
Sure you don't mean erythromycin for cyano?
The only thing that worked for bba in my fw ranks was Siamese algae eaters. I treat all incoming plants with potassium permanganate as a prophylactic and haven't seen anything but gha and occasional cyano (but only in my discus tank).

Translation from that text earlier...
"Everton,
In order to combat "difficult" filamentous algae, both Bryopsis and Derbésia, what I have used and recommended is FLUCONAZOL, at the dose of 9 mg / liter in UNIQUE DOSE and directly on the display. It is reef safe. Fluconazole has as a mechanism of action the blocking of the synthesis of ergosterol, a structural fat, present in the cellular membranes of some algae, among which are cited, which gives them flexibility and resistance. When the synthesis of this fat, which is also present in fungi, is blocked, the cell wall and the membranes of the algae weaken, and they are exposed to the aggression of the medium and even the herbivory; The cleaning crew and the parrots on duty start to eat them. This fat, ergosterol, is not present in the cell membranes of higher animals and plants nor in the zooxanthellae of corals, so it does not affect them. The drug is bought in any pharmacy, but in Ultrafarma (click the link) usually has a better price. It is an antimycotic, not an antibiotic, so it does not need a prescription. It usually comes in 150 mg capsules, filled with dust, which must be opened and the powder (only the powder) dissolved in a little deionized water, then pouring the solution thus obtained in the display of the aquarium or sump, preferably at night . During the treatment period of about 14 days, the skimmer cup and activated charcoal should be removed from the medicine. The UV filter, if any, should also be switched off (ultraviolet degrades the medicine). It is also advisable to remove the ATS during treatment, because the filamentous algae that grow there will also be affected. At the end of the treatment, simply return the glass of the skimmer, activated carbon and other equipment; No TPA required.

So many trips to the pharmacy!
Sooo old skool [emoji16]. Online pharmacy, much cheaper [emoji1305]
I'm glad you managed to source some!
Thanks
It was a PITA to be honest, you can only buy 3 capsules at a time in the uk. Pharmacists want to see a prescription, so online was the best option. Plus they range from £1.25 to £2.50 a caplsule, cost more in PNP [emoji849][emoji849]
