We haven't heard anyone talk about their macros. So I can't comment on that. I would suspect that if you have GHA on your scrubber that it is probably not going to like the fluconazole. Whether it kills it, and how long fluconazole remains active in the sytem is unknown at this point. This is still very early in this treatment. :)
My buddys macros are all fine. Cheato calerpa and reds

Yep, I am in that boat with starving corals... getting stump remover today.
I was using Vibrant, I added a littl KNO3 (stump remover). Raised my NO3 to 3-4ppm. Cyano got worse. Once the Bryopsis is gone, I will deal with cyano.

Yup the fights over! Just sit back and enjoy the show @KenO

It amazing how happy we all are by committing Bryopsis-cide. Each day I can't wait till the lights come on. I will be moving into a new house in a few months, if I wasn't able to eliminate the Bryopsis, I was going to toss everything during the move. Not anymore.

So once it all begins dieing put the gac back online and run the skimmers. What about gfo? Should this be offline until treatment is completed (14 days)? Should we not do water changes during the treatment (I am thinking not) and what about stump remover dosing?
Some of us have removed all filtration methods and some have not. I removed all filtration from both of my tanks except for filter socks. As far as GFO, it does bind other organics and metals. Rather this would help or not during the treatment I can't answer that.
It's been recommended to wait atleast 2 weeks until the first water change during treatment. I'm also not sure if stump remover is recommended or not during this treatment. Other than carbon dosing that others have been performing, I've only been dosing alk, calcium and magnesium.

I was also dosing vibrant and had the same issue. Just finished cleaning it up with chemiclean and doing a wc tonight. Hopefully the stump remover won't bring it back. Picked it up today but lost the thread on how much to dose... searching now. I have several very unhappy corals atm.

@stevo01 Looking great! And you're not manually removing any either? WOW! I am so glad not to do that anymore!

I haven't touched it in 8 days. I did adjust my power head and everything on it went poof. You don't have to do anything but watch and test.

After 14 days I think I'll add the carbon, following day do a WC, then run carbon another couple days, then begin a 2nd round of fluco.

I'll have a coral QT dosed with Fluco before I move these into the new tank too. I dont want this in the new tank.

Pico tank is looking a little better already. Gha takes longer. I can't wait to read what Todd is able to research.

You'll need to make allowances for the nutrients that the dying algae will release, I don't know what you use for NO3 and PO4 export, but as far as we know, all things still work.

I would remove my activated carbon and am not goin to return it to the tank until the 2 week mark.

The skimmer, I lowered the water level in mine so it wouldn't really collect (it still did) much skimmate, but still provide aeration for the first 3 days, most of my algae was gone at that point so I figured I better start it up and collect. I don't know if that helped or hurt. At the very least I would shut it off when I dose the med, and waited until the tank cleared before collecting skimmate.

I wouldn't worry about the stump remover bringing back the cyano @prsnlty. It shouldn't do that.
I didn't have any cyano, dosed KNO3 and the cyano started and went crazy. I did some water changes to reduce NO3, cyano is still there but not spreading.

I have literally 0-no3 and 0-po4 and several sps are getting white spots and losing color. I have to do something... I treated my tank for cyano so I hope it'll be fine but if not I'll treat it again after all is said and done.

If you look closely at the Monti pic I feel like the bryopsis is already starting to lighten up, especially if you look at the midrib. The GHA looks the same as before.

I had wicked cyano for a long time, and have and do dose it and it never came back on me. Cyano is a real opportunistic organism, it's really hard to pin down why it favors some conditions over others. It thrives in ULNS though, so double zeros is what it loves the best. With NO3 and PO4 it has to compete with other more efficient bacteria over the food source and it usually falls to the background. The stuff is in the air all around us, it's in some of our brains! (They have been finding it in some Alzeheimers and senile dementia patients brains post mortem)

Okay I am in, my display is actually pretty clean from algae other than some green cyno and a few other tiny patches of algae but my frag tank is another story... I hate cleaning egg crate and have neglected the tank for a little while now. The frag tank is connected to my entire system and I always put new frags in there before the display. I dosed the whole system tonight because if it's in the frag system it's bound to get into the display too.

I dosed fifteen 200mg capsules which is a bit less then 20mg / gallon, I am guessing I have around 170 gallons of total volume (wanted to keep the other 15 for the future)

Guess I'll be treating this 45g that I have cycling too :( 1/2 of this rock was cooked for a long time awaiting my to drill and rebuild this tank.... Guess where the rock originated from? Ugh, there isn't even a cuc in it yet!

That's child's play! :D

So hands up for those dosing with clams in there tank! I've got a serious amount of money invest in four separate clam species in my tank and would rather have bryopsis than risk them lol. I need to hear what people's experience are with the flucon and clams :)
