Believe it's bry I've hydrogen dip 3 times and it keeps coming back with vengeance
Have you taken out a piece and put some h202 on it? If it turns white it is gha. If not it is a species of bryopsis. Some species of bryopsis looks like gha as did mine.

Fluconazole will kill green hair algae it's just going to take longer to do so. That's why I'm asking so you have an idea what to look forward to and when.

Yes I have 3 times never turned white scubed the you know what out of the rocks and it keeps coming back m
Yep it's bryopsis and looks like mine did. Do NOT pull any after dosing it will slow the process and keep the cup off the skimmer. This will help. After a week add some Mexican turbos if you can.

Yeah as much as I want to I've read not to pull it out also skimmer cup off and no carbon
My skimmer is going crazy and over flowing like never before almost tempted to turn it off for a week

I think that you would be fine turning your skimmer off if you want to. Some people don't even run a skimmer on their system at all.

If carbon dosing, should you discontinue for duration of treatment since skimmer is off or continue?
I would continue but lighten up on feedings a little. If what you have is bryopsis and not super heavy, you could begin running your skimmer normally in about a week.

Just added my first dose to 75g DT + 20g sump. Mixed reef, turned off skimmer and GFO reactor. Removed filter sock but will probably replace. I've got quite a mix of nuisance algae... turf, bubble, hair, and bryopsis, (recent mini "crash") so it will be interesting to see the effects. I plan on 2 rounds of doses, 2 weeks apart with a 20% water change after each. Hoping with the 2 doses the GHA will be eradicated as well as the bryopsis. Here's hoping!

Well I had high hopes of using this method to kill the bryopsis in my aquarium but USPS lost the package but still listed it is "delivered" so my PayPal claim was denied. Guess I'll have to try and order again in hopes that it will actually be delivered.

Go to the Post Office and have them run a GPS trace of where it was delivered. I've done this several times and as long as it was scanned when it was delivered, they can see what address it was actually delivered to.

Good call! I've been on the phone with them four times now but haven't specifically asked for this.

Had asked earlier.. but this thread swooped past my post.. got some to treat a seahorse tank.
Anybody treat especially sensitive livestock with no issues, please?

I haven't seen anyone post about treating a tank with seahorses that I can remember. Hopefully if someone has, they will chime in.

I agree with NCreefguy! My delivery people are terrible about delivering to different streets with the same house number as mine claiming they delivered it. You have to stomp your feet and say no they did not where is it? ! Then that gets them on the move to finding your package.

I just received my dosage but, I have a cowrie in my tank. Will it kill him? And are urchins safe?
Urchins are definitely safe I'm not sure about a Cowrie but I would say yes :)
