I have stated several times that neomeris annulata seems to not be affected by fluconazole, and that infact it seemed to get a boost in growth. Well, it seems to be dying back, and weaker this week. too early for a woot! but I will keep you informed.
I have also decided to declare the treatment a success at this point. At one month post treament algae is 95% gone from my tank., and what wee bit that is left I am leaving for my grazers.

It's been 14 days all my bryopsis is gone but now the rocks an sand have like brown what is it an what should I do?

Well Victoria this is good news and I am happy for you!!! Hopefully the neomeris annulata kicks the buckets too [emoji3]

Is it everywhere or only where the algae was?

It could be due to nutrients being released back from dying algae. I have the same problem due to 25ppm NO3 (usually kept at 5ppm or below) after a week or two of my 18-days successful treatment. Just increase your nutrient export to clear up these accumulation for a week or two until it clear up.

I my case I had roots in the brown spot locations that the no3 was feeding.... it then began to grow. So keep an eye on it. That's why I started a 2nd dose.

I am on my 3rd month bryposis free tank. Still no sign (knock on wood) of it coming back. I increased my red/green light 3 weeks ago as my snails has been on serious diet program (not much to eat since february). I have to feed my hermits fresh prawn as well :D

That is really good to hear! Gives hope that it'll stay away :D Poor snails lol. I was considering some sinking algae tablets to put in mine when it's all over with.

I can't find any veggies tablets from my local LFS but I am seeing some greens buildup on my tank walls for snails to graze. Added a few nori sheets ( i can get fresh dried nori easily) as extra food for inverts too.

Well 2 days into the new lights and fluconazole treatment. Bryopsis is starting to turn white already! Getting hopeful.

So today I did a nice 30% water change in preparation for skipping a water change or two due to doisng. I tried the Tech M trick for a month and it seemed to work but about a month after I lowered my magnesium levels back down to normal, it was back. The bryopsis really only seems to grow out of my GSP so we shall see how it works. Just dosed 20mg per gallon and everything seems fine, just a tad cloudy. Here is what I'm working with. Not bad at all compared to what some have, but might as well stay ahead of it!
