In 14 days. Turn down or turn off skimmer, do not use Purigen, mix medication in cup of tank water then put in tank in front of high flow at night. Now wait 14 days. :) Gook luck!

Tank update day 21. It's been one week sense doing my water change and adding carbon. Happy to say any gha that was left in my tank is either dead or very close to dead. Even with removing the meds it still seems to be withering away any remaining gha, either that or my cuc is doing some serious work. The timing of this treatment couldn't of come better I was about to do a serious upgrade to my filtration and really wanted to beat the algae before hand. I was successful in doing this and installed the upgrade last Thursday. I'm sure the new system is upping the results but I couldn't be happier to have my tank back I'll post another before picture for reference but I think it's safe to say I have beat my gha!

Thanks! A lot of work went into that upgrade and I'm already seeing the difference.

WOW! Super impressive! What day did you start noticing big changes in GHA? I'm on day 8. You did not do a second dose, correct?

Now if I could just find a solution to my thick wiry turf algae I'd be set!

I started to really see the gha start dying off in the second week. And the last couple days it was really kicking its butt. I only dosed once but a little heavy 4000ml in my 125 or 20 pills. I didn't run my skimmer,uv,carbon, or Gfo during the full treatment. Skimmer was on but not collecting. I would think you should start seeing your gha start greying out soon. It just withers away and dies. Once it gets really white you can hit it with a toothbrush and it just disangrates.

It's hard to tell from that pic. Do you see any fern/fan looking blades on it?

Don't see any fan looking blades, but as far as I know there's around 45 types of it
Maybe this pic is better

I only have these in my fuge, that's why I'm not fighting it.
Thanks!
