Interestingly enough I did this treatment about 4 weeks ago and I did the entire 14 day treatment. I noticed a few days ago that where my two original patches of bryopsis was is starting to grow back [emoji20]

I've been treating for about 5 weeks. After about two weeks you could tell the stuff wasn't going to survive. I continued weekly doses. After the 4th week I was getting tired of seeing the dead strands billowing in the flow and was going to get a tooth brush to try to clean it off. A day or so later it had disappeared on its own. Continuing dosing to make sure nothing comes back!

You are dosing weekly, instead of just once? At what dosage? Are you doing something to clean the previous dose out of the water or are you assuming it's already gone?

I cut the dosage in half. I felt that waiting two weeks between dosage by the end of the two weeks it wouldn't be as effective and dosing weekly would keep it working more consistently...kind of like dosing alk or mag...you dose consistently rather than dumping a lot in all at once.

Sorry if this has been covered. Recieved fluconazole in pink 100mg tablets. Are these safe to use?
Used the same type 3 days ago for GHA, so far not much impact per the norm and all corals are fine. Others have used same with success. Good luck!

A few of my corals are getting upset, I'm going to turn on the skimmer.

How much should I use on a 20g long. It's got about 15 pounds of rock and a bag of arag alive as the substrate, plus a hang on fuge. Not sure on total water amount. Is one 200mg pill too much?

I've been following this thread for ages and eventually at 2am this morning I plucked up the courage to dose the miracle pills lol. I did a water change yesterday evening and siphoned out all the bryopsis I could reach then took the floss out of my sump and switched off the skimmer.
Question is guys.......do I need to switch off the uv in my radions?

20mg per gallon. 20 gallons plus your fuge(if its around a gallon),minus 15% for your rocks is around 18 gallons. 18gallons x 20mg/gallon = 360mg I would use 1.5 capsules for your treatment.

No just keep them going as normal. The uv doesn't seem to degrade the meds enough to change anything.

Cool thanks a lot, it's supposed to be in the mail today.

2.5 months after my first dose of Fluconazle, Bryopsis is popping back up. [emoji24] [emoji24] [emoji24]
Anyone else have it come back?

Did you turn your skimmer off completely? I just removed the collection cup for the first week.

Yes, I had to turn it off as there was too much foam coming out. I turned it back on yesterday when I saw some corals going pale. I've got real problems now, a few corals have RTN about 50%+ of the flesh. Now I can't seem to find some of my invertebrates...... I fear they are gone. Parameters seem ok. Not sure what I should do, run some fresh carbon?

Carbon and water change seem in order. Really sorry about your problems. I haven't seen anyone else report that. Did you dose the standard amount? Did you have a while lot of bryopsis? Maybe it was the amount of die off?

I had a lot, I mean a lot. I had a really good amount of cheato that did the bulk of my export I think for NO3 and PO4 but it died off when I treat my system with Vibrant a month ago. After that the bryopsis had no competition and took off. I have plenty of carbon but my salt was supposed to be here Friday was rerouted back to BRS today....

This is what my skimmer and filter sock look like after just one day.
