Not sure what's going on. I took most readings.
Salinity= 1.026
Temp= 78
Nitrate= 0
Nitrite= 0
Ammonia 0
Calcium= 0
Ph= 7.8-8.0
I'm puzzled and am need of anybody's help!

I am using filtered tap water.
Do you mean RODI ? That is key important factor, how is your anemone doing?

Try to feed it, it may be under stress from shipping or the previous owner damaged it when remove it from the rock.

That happen to me, I got this anemone and it went under rocks for few weeks, I though it going to die. The previous owner damage it when removed it from rock and when transporting it (first photo), but I provided food and look it now, is fully recovered (second photo, 4 weeks after). Two days ago (third photo) it moved to another location because I moved the wave pump.

I can see that happening, and I wish I was having that same experience.
However, I don't think that that is my issue. Example; this mourning it was looking better but now it is totally enclosed and it's secreting some kind of brown slime. when it does come out, its color doesn't look healthy.

I'm going to take a picture of it and post it later today. Thanks
Well, I got the new api kit. The bad news is that it was too late.
Sure enough, the kit that I purchased from offer up was giving me incorrect readings.
The ammonia level was in between 0.25-0.50. What's left in my tank is 2 clownfish, and 4 small hermit crabs.
I did a 25% water change prior to getting the BTA in my tank. Now I'm wondering if I should put some ammo lock in the tank or do another water change or maybe just do nothing for the time being. I would appreciate any thoughts on the matter.
Thanks

You should add some bacteria to the tank whatever you do to try to help get your bioload capacity up. If you have ammonia in your system it isn't very safe for your inhabitants. But I dont know if the ammonia went up bc the bubble tip died in the tank or the tank doesn't have enough denitrifying bacteria in the first place.

I can test everything again. What should I be keeping more attention too?

It's not unusual for BTAs to fail to thrive in newer tanks. I would suggest waiting 9 months to a year to introduce one.
