no they just hosted yesterday and i was having the issue before they hosted. Is it possibly adjusting to the clowns hosting it? My last nem did this as well when I first got it but eventually settled in and stopped doing that.

cant trade it to your BTA to the LFS for credit? i have a 16 prime hd, i check my salt daily and i have a duetto ato. my salt has been stable ever since i put my ato which was a month ago. so far the anemone looks to be deflating mid afternoon, filling back up by night and bubbles back up over night till it deflates again. which has been daily since i purchased it, tomorrow makes a week i believe.Off topic a bit but I have a BTA that keeps splitting and I can’t even give them away. Going to put in my nano that’s <3 months old and see if it thrives. IME, BTAs are pretty easy. With good lighting and stable parameters, they’re not hard. To the OP, I hope you have good lighting. If so, make sure your ATO works properly as salinity swings will make every parameter swing which stresses them out.
They do take time to adjust. I think mine was fickle and moved around for a week. Got stuck in the overflow then finally attached itself to a rock. It doesn’t move anymore. It’ll split and then the second half repeats the wonder around part. I wish I could trade for credit. LFS don’t care where I live. Good luck with yours. i have a prime 16hd reef light so i am good on lighting and i havent feed him. i did move one of my fans closer to his area and it seems to have helped it more. also now that the anemone and my clown hosted im sure it will help more. yesterday when he deflated the clown was working hard to take all his crap out.
good idea, ill monitor when it deflates today and fills back up and compare it to my lighting schedule. i don't know of any place where i can rent a PAR to measure my light intensity, but i'll start looking for one.Did you measure your PAR levels? It might be too much light. I went from 2x 175W MHs to 2x Hyrda 52 HDs. Didn't measure PAR before the switch and set it by eye and using other people's settings. Pretty much cooked my anemones, most shriveled and died. My 120+ bta's liked it at around 150 PAR with the MHs. My HDs were putting out around 400-500. Went back to MHs and tank is doing much better. Will try the leds once the tank stabilizes.
