Bubble tip anemone

Tbh though bta should be in the realm of 200+

noticed this white stuff in the bta tonight. Can’t tell if it’s going or not...

It looks like it has some color. I would just leave it be. Anemones take time to heal and color up again. It looks ok for now. If it drops from the rock then it might be time to remove it

I wouldn't. That only give you 1.5 watt per gallon. For $200 there are better Choices. How's the nem doing?

Thanks

they had a 48 t5 here clearance but it was too big for my tank
Nem seems fine. Stays in same place, just seems smaller than it was when we got it .

Always check to make sure it is "T5HO". Which is high output. They are the most tried and true lights you can buy tbh. I run those and led together

I gotta ask, are feeding him at all? I feed mine a small small amount everyday but it's oral disc was the size of a dime when I got em and now it's the size of a quarter in 3 weeks time. I feed it Omaga One Marine carnivore(same thing I feed my LPS coral).

He only gets brine/mysis shrimp. I stopped feeding him directly weeks ago when a poster mentioned not feeding him.

I agree with not feeding. Feeding actually stresses nems and causes them to use alot of energy. Nems just like corals rely on the zooxanthellae in their tissue for restoring energy. However in healthy nems feeding once a week will help them grow and thrive considerably. Bottom line is nems need proper light over regular feedings. Also once a tank is established there is enough free floating food in the water column. Has your nem gained any color back?

You said in the post before this that he was doing fine just but looking smaller. Might be time to start feeding em again. I'd make it a very small meal and see if he eats or not.

Parameters are all fine. Tank year old. 2 clowns goby cleaner crew. 20 gallon long. Light is below. I was using a lesser light but was told on here to get a better light and that recovery could take some time.
