Great job on the thread, have been following it all along. I'm setting up a 525xl now and still uncertain on which rock to go with but really thinking about using Real Reef like you did. It looks amazing in your set up. Given you have now had it for quite some time, what are your thoughts, would you do it again? Is it porous enough in your opinion? How many pounds did you use in the 525? Thanks

Thank you for the kind words! I love the real Reef rock it's the best in my opinion. I also used some other rock from my local shop. So I have 60lbs of real Reef and 25 pounds of the other stuff. That's all I needed however I also used 2 of the Marine pure blocks in my sump also I removed the black pad and placed it in there.

Just showing a quick pic of the growth on my first corals which after a month and a half look good and I'm seeing rapid growth. Starting to feel confident enough to start adding more. My frog spawn looks so much better then when I bought it from the lfs. And my neon green leather has doubled its size in that time.
