Couple of Stills to help. Really hard to get a clear one though. Look at the reflectiveness on those eyes

At first I thought you were wrong but I am thinking that you might be correct. Any idea what it is

Yeah I'm sure its the same as what I have. I'm guessing its just a different variety of amphipod. They are easy to spot due to the red color and extreme speed they move at. Much faster than any other pod I've seen.
By any chance did you get any coral from Australia?

The gammarid amphipod's color can vary with the color of its food source. And they have compound eyes that appear to reflect light as their eyes gather light in low light situations.

Here is where I admit that I have Coral bugs and fish from all over. Have no idea where most of them come from. My favorite thing about reefing is variety. I take pieces and fish and small bags of sand from tanks anywhere I can. Biodiversity comes before worrying about invaders for me. LOL

I have an interesting collection of small creatures in my system. ;)

Im always down for some bio. Maybe when the weather gets better here i could pay you to send me something. ;) algae, sand, rock. Alot of people worry. But a bit of bryopsis or a flatworm. Sometimes its rough to deal with. But i live. I fix. I have a lot of critters that are awesome! Cant get those without risk. :)
