Yeah. Im pretty sure its an amphipod. But its hard to find names for each type. :( that link shows a similar one with no name.
 
really?? I've searched for a good hour and thats the only naturally red amphipod I could find! However I have read something saying that can change to the color of the food they eat so it could've eaten something red?
 
The front two thirds of this one are red and the rear third is clear. I have now found two other pictures of this exact pod. But no names. It is not entirely red like the sea flea
 
never been more confused in my life... I hope someone helps you figure out the name I have a Geometry test tomorrow :(

Im always down for some bio. Maybe when the weather gets better here i could pay you to send me something. ;) algae, sand, rock. Alot of people worry. But a bit of bryopsis or a flatworm. Sometimes its rough to deal with. But i live. I fix. I have a lot of critters that are awesome! Cant get those without risk. :)

I had a beautiful poster full of photos of the different gammarids.... it's on my computer that crashed and burned.
