I posted some updates on another thread, but I'll post here as well.
I was having a bit of an Aiptasia problem in my main display tank had tried different ways to try an combat them. From Kalkpaste, to boiling RODI water, to lemon juice, and they all looked like it took care of them, but several days later they came back out giving me the finger. So in some other threads I heard of some reefers using F-Aiptasia and swore it worked better than Aiptasia-X, and all of the other remedies including the ones I tried. So I ordered me a bottle to give it a shot as I really didnt want to remove the rock and scrape/dry out.
Bottle for reference. Comes with syringe and 2 different tips (straight, and curved) for you to use. Wooden stirrer to stir up the contents in the bottle as it might be a clump of paste when it arrives.
Here are the 2 biggest groups of the stinky buggers
And here it is after applying F-Aiptasia. Shut off all of your flow before applying.
Once you apply it, it hardens up after 25-30 minutes. I waited about 45-50 minutes before I turned all the flow back on.
One thing that happened to me was 1 of my power heads points directly to a spot I covered up, and as soon I I turned my WAV pumps back on, it destroyed hard casing in that one spot. The rest of the solution held strong.
And these pictures are from today. All of the ones I covered have not come back. I'll be hitting the tank again this weekend to all the other ones I find. Just make sure that if the solutions falls on your corals, blow it off ASAP.
I would recommend this product in case you are dealing with Aiptasia issues.
