What does the number of 90s on the drain side really affect. I know they drop pressure on the pump side but the is really no pressure on a gravity drain

That 1 inch line is one of my 4 returns. My drains are 1.5 inches

90s will slow your flow in a drain as well. I wouldn't worry much about having a couple though.

Question... When installing schedule 40 one inch to a slip fitting on a bulkhead, do you just use the pvc primer and solvent like with all the pipe or is there a different "glue" you are referring to? Thanks, Tiger.

I used the oatey all purpose cement pipe glue come in a red can at lowes for sure and probably anywhere else plus the glue is clear so no ugly purple:thumbup:

I agree, the all purpose glues will work on ABS as well as PVC plastics.

But will the purple and clear 2-step I've been using on the pvc work with the abs?
