Bulkreef supply hacked credit cards compromised

I got my card hacked last night. I was dumb and used my debit card. And they cleared my account and overdraft account out. And I get home today and the BRS letter was in the mail. They were all online purchases. A little over $2,300.00 in charges to Sophora and Perfume places.

It is going to take some time for me to trust BRS again. And I am running low on GFO.

They gave a free year of credit monitoring with Experian, and I took them up on it. I thought that was a great way to handle it.

I got hit from Thailand $2 then $8 but my CC rejected the other big transaction before it got carried away. Phew... Not what I needed minutes from a big interview but it was taken care of. Time to sign up for that credit monitoring.

my card used at BRS was just flagged for 2,700 worth of flowers, music and car parts! thanks goodness for fraud departments. Haven't used card for anything since brs 8 months ago

I think all of us and people that don't know about this would love to get an email before we read this on the site. At the least this could be on your banner on the front of your page because right now it seems like your more concerned with your image than your customers. If I lose 1500-2000$ it's a huge hit please do more to get the word out then the little tiny link on your homepage and speed up whatever your doing. Emailing everyone that has made a purchase in that time period of the hack would be a very good idea instead of wasting precious time when peoples accounts could already be getting hacked or money stolen.

I did lose that and they don't care... I even sent pdfs from B of A showing 4 new cards and bounced charges for **** and french video games etc... now the bank after holding for 10 days let me file fraud charges but during those 10 days everything normal bounced 3x each and late for rent 5 out of 6 months and today I finally caught up with my car payment...

bank doesn't cover third party fee's and all of that was paid by me while almost losing my house etc. We didn't know where the attacks where coming from or how they kept getting my info.
It got so bad that I would have my check posted and they would do these .50c to 25.99 charges and eat up my 3k check before I woke up and wait till they finish posting till I can call the fraud dept. This really helpped with my wifes MS meds and mine for a broken back when you can't pick them up and forced detox etc.

The stupid thing is I was pass the point of ****** so I just wanted it over with and I gave them more than enough proof about it and I told them to think of what they feel is fare and email me and I got a phone message after I told them not to call me since I would not be home and I am not dealing with "lawyers" they have on there side telling them what to say to save their butt when I can add up every fee I was late etc and go after them for it. So I just wanted a end that was fare and done by email so its logged both sides and nothing.. Then today they sent me a 5 buck off coupon since I haven't shopped since.

So now I am going to do like others and not play their game and just make them come to where I live and defend themselves against federal and state laws that state they are liable for all charges out of pocket.

I used to love them but not now...

its a law deal and not something they did because ....

and really it does nothing since it will not change any 3rd party issues and does what 99.9% of the banks already do.

I agree. Use PayPal.

Paypal does no more protection than any bank... they are a bank that deals with one product....

A hacker can do 100 small charges and it hit paypal then pend and while that is happening paypal takes the money out of your banking account etc...

best way to do it is paypal and a 2nd bank account you can feed money too but doesn't attack the first for overdraft or just do the second account and use that card.
