How long have you had the fish? It could be Lymphocystis (which doesn’t need to be treated) or from a bump or scrape, which only needs to be treated if it becomes infected. It is not flukes or protozoan, so that’s good. If you can get a clearer picture, it would help.
One thing - I see that it appears to be very thin behind its head, or is that a shadow? CB’s are notorious for gradually getting skinny, so slowly that people who see them every day may not even notice.
