Buying SPS: Best places with lower shipping

Vivid. Ask for Brandon. Have him send you some pics of the back room high roller tank. Amazing service. Cheap shipping if you need it. With a 15 day garauntee — won’t get that anywhere else

Not a big fan of the hype threads that Boom Corals posts for his new releases in general discussion forums personally. But I’ve never bought from him and probably won’t because of it

I appreciate the feedback. But, there are others who post the same type of threads in general forums announcing new corals. I'm not the only one who does it. And, my "hype" threads feature corals that are still going to be way cheaper than other companies that come up with their own names. In the $40-$70 range for a regular or large size frag. :)

But even then, I think I've posted maybe two or three of what you call "hype" threads ever?

edit: yep two threads. ever. :)

By the way, I also offer a two week guarantee.

I don’t remember another vendor doing it outside of their vendor page, but I guess I’ve seen both of yours to notice a pattern. I personally didn’t like. But now you have the feedback and can weigh the pros and cons of promoting your piece vs losing potential customers next time you think about doing it.

I don’t want to derail the thread. And I won’t comment regarding it again. Sounds like some people have had good experiences with you.

No I do appreciate that feedback. If it bothers people I won’t do it. My goal certainly is not to bother R2R members. :)

FWIW I clicked the threads and read. Got annoyed and clicked your website. Was pleasantly surprised and now intend to order from you in the near future. So there's that lol.

I literally snorted when I read this LOL. Reverse psychology marketing? :p

Boom corals is the way to go. I usually research vendor quality and prices to order buy and also sell my own stuff. I am surprised to see him as a vendor sells quality stuff cheaper than many hobbiest. I have couple of things pending from him and can’t wait to add more

Saltyunderground.com. Free over night shipping for orders over $75. I have ordered 17 corals from them with no problems. All arrived healthy and are growing well. Great service too.

Wait, so what is wrong with BoomCorals promoting a new coral? Did I miss something? As long as it’s truly new, how else is he supposed to get it out there?

No one has mentioned Reef Pets. He offers up some nice frag packs that include shipping. Usually bringing the cost per frag down to th$30 range. A recent pack he offered was 9 chunky frags for $249 shipped.

Yes, I’ve ordered from him. Nice, multi branch, healthy, colorful, frags.

This does not have much to do with anything, but you are going to pay for shipping one way or another. Sometimes, you are just better off sucking up the $45 to $60 and paying less for the frags. "Free shipping" is built into the price of the frags. These folks are not in business to lose money.

Adam @Battlecorals has the best high end SPS Around IMHO. Great guy to deal with as well.

I have heard nothing but great things about boom corals and I’m sure I’ll do an order from him at some point. I usually go with the small guys for specific high end pieces but it’s crazy how many of these posts I see on here and no one ever says anything about liveaquaria divers den. I live in Alaska and they ship here for a 20.00 Alaska fee. I normally order enough to get free shipping, I think it’s over 149.00 is free shipping. The nice thing is they don’t photoshop their pics or use crazy filters. What I receive looks better than the pics. Any they have huge colonies some times. Great no questions asked doa policy. These are a couple colonies I’ve got that were under 125.00
