Buying Tanks

Saltwateraquarium.com has the DSA 180 Extreme Bowfront for $2461 plus shipping. Includes stand, overflow, glass covers, and it's drilled.

FWIW, you could also price this at the Critter. I know they can get DSA tanks, and you might not have to pay shipping.

Yeah I aw that one at critter and it was sold a month or o ago. It is 6 ft long, and I am going almost 7 ft so Chris over there is getting me a price on that. I have the room for a little longer than that one, but that tank is the on I am trying to get, just custom made a bit longer.

There's plenty of skimmers that will fit under a 32, like a Reef Octopus POV DC3 rated at 400g is only 25". It won't be as much room as it sounds after you subtract bracing, etc. in the stand, but it would fit decent.

I actually went 39" and love it, but I could see 32" being nice, also.

The problem with a Bowfront is that it is narrower on the ends so I have to think of that for the sump. The guy said on a 72 inch bow don't go over 40 inches long or 20 inches deep.

Yeah Mapn, I am looking at a used one, or one through critter. However they want $3,500 for the same tank I can buy online for $2,400 with free shipping so I am not going to pay extra. Glad to hear its a good product, if this used one isn't what I want when I see it this afternoon I will be going DSA 6ft bow.
